THE 2-D TO 3-D PATHS OF SUCCESS

Young man, the success road contains two paths namely the 2-D and the 3-D path. The 2-D which is dream and desire, are the architectural building monomers of the word "success". If you don't have a dream then automatically you can not have a desire. Dream spurs desire! Without dream, there is no basis for desire. The bedrock for desire is to have a dream. If you do not have an ambition to become a nurse, your desire to look like one you see in the hospital is zero. Your desire to wear their uniform(scrubs) is baseless or probably will be in acting a movie. Can I tell you something? Young man, your dream must align with God's purpose for your life if you will not be desiring success in what is not the will of God for your life. The second D in 2-D path is Desire. This is wishing to be successful in your aspiration. I must tell you this young man, wishing to be like a successful professor or one of the richest men around the world is good. However, mere description can never boil water not to talk of cooking vegetable. So having a dream or desiring to be successful in whatever you are doing is not enough, it must follow the 3-D path. The 3-D are Direction, Discipline and Determination. As a matter of truth, even to become like Jesus, you must trust the Holy Spirit to take you through this 3-D path. Direction on which Church to go in order to aid your spiritual growth. Discipline and Determination to have personal fellowship with Him, and say no to sin in this corruptible age are vital ingredient in becoming like Christ. That way, you will become a successful follower of Christ than mere wishing. This is the foundation upon which success is also built. To be successful in life, you have to seek for direction from God and elders (those who have gone through that path of your aspirations or those who that can at least borrow you some wisdom) lest you carry the baton out of the lane and earn little or no reward or earthly reward void of heaven's recognition. Take this seriously young man. You cannot carry football from the center of the field, score at your own goalpost and earn a point. Although it is a goalpost within the same field under the same rule, but your goal is a goal in the wrong direction..The same thing is applicable in the journey of success, you must have a clear direction according to the counsel of God for you, counsel from those who have gone ahead of you, and counsel from your spouse and maybe inner circle friends. Never jump to a particular career or ambition because others are doing well there, it might be a wrong direction for you, and you might be frustrated along the path. To the right direction, add discipline. See, even if it is angel taking your hands like a toddler to follow that direction, without discipline, you can easily lose focus or carried away by a few moments enjoyment. Ask Samson that can not hold his body. Weeping may endure for a night, joy cometh in the morning. Discipline is necessary for your success to come in the morning. I beseech you all, subject your body to discipline like apostle Paul in all your dreams, because the enjoyment of now cannot be compared to that of the latter both here on earth and in heaven. Lastly, let me tell you about determination which is a very key ingredient in the success pathway! "A willing mind will find a thousand ways to eradicate a problem while an unwilling mind will find a thousand excuses foe something not to work". Determination is an essential ingredient for a successful process pathway ride because it is not all rosy. You will receive rejections, you will see challenges, even many will mock you or think you are not making progress. But I must tell you, with strong determination, you can achieve your goals, reach the top, be somebody in life, surprise yourself, make your parents proud, make God proud, become somebody in your choosing career, become a role model, become highly respected in your work place and so on. Discipline and determination are mother and father of perseverance and if you have doubts about these,  ask Daniel. Even after God took him to the palace, discipline and determination took him higher by day.  Be ready to dream and desire that your dream come through but be more ready to get direction, be disciplined  and be determined to succeed in life.
