AVOID THE HAGARS

Young man, beware of getting help anyway and anyhow when you seem to get stuck on your journey.. It is delicate for you to do so. Of course, at one point or the other in your journey, you will need help from your horizontal relationships. Just take caution in knowing where such help will come from. Every help around you may look like what will bail you out from a draught, stagnant point or bareness. You may cross some red lines in moment when you are extremely tired. Crossing such boundaries may hinder you from becoming all that God had designed for you. It may also put a big spot on your testimonies. Beware of the Hagars in your testimony. Sarah had a lengthy delay in her marriage. She was not fruitful for several years till she passed menopause. She was in dare need of solution to her condition. She wanted her husband to have a child they could call theirs. Neglecting the promises of God for them, she sought help from Hagar. She sought to end her woe by herself. You may be in such conditions too. When you think the promises of God tarries or when you think you should device the methodology of helping his promises to come alive. Well, you have to be extremely careful at such junctions. Your help is purely in God. Seeking help from your horizontally oriented relationships must originate from God alone. When you device to seek help from anyone away from God, you may end up been mocked. The help Sarah sought gave them what they wanted but caused a big threat to the promise of God. Hagar started to mock Sarah and behave unruly to her. Her son also mocked the promised child when he later arrived. Hagar seemed to be the best help for her problem but the help was later sent packing. It was a poisonous help. It was a mocking help. Young man, watch where you go, in seeking for help when you are in dare need of one. Be guided by God's Spirit. In famine, Elijah was guided to his supply. Be guided in getting help. Not all help are really help. Some are lazed with danger.
