MOVE AWAY FROM GOSHEN; A TERRITORY IN EGYPT

Let me be very blunt with you today. It is very essential that you are comfortable and be excellent in life.  It is the desire of God for you to be in peace and wealth. However, you must realise that God has a scheme for you and you must not be tempted to be comfortable in what "seems"to be God's provision. You must be wary of Goshen. Yes, you heard me well. Goshen was the best land in Egypt and it was given to welcome Jacob's family. It was the best of all that Egypt had to showcase as a "land flowing with milk and honey". It was a match made in heaven for the herdsmen that just arrived. In fact, they were blessed and enlarged in Goshen but alas, it was purely Egypt. It does not matter the part of Egypt it was, it was Egypt. Egypt does not have a good connotation in the bible.  It is one of the allegory of slavery and suffering. Yet, when Jacob came in, they were offered the best part of the land though a disguise of the reality of what it is. Young man, beware that you don't tarry in Goshen. It may meet your needs today, it will sap your energy tomorrow and turn you to the slaves as that was the aim. Move away from Goshen, it is not a land to dwell in. It looks so much like Canaan but it is still purely an Egyptian land. Goshen could be the little comfort that drives God away from you. It could be the little money that made your head swell and inflate your ego. Goshen could be the Job that drives you away from purpose and impact. Goshen may be anything that looks like the original but is not. Move away from Goshen. Jacob and the early generation enjoyed the land but their wards saw the reality of what the land was. You see, you may enjoy duping People to make money and your generation lavish it in riotous living. You may have it all but keep hanging a big problem for your future.  You may have been sowing seeds that will leave you sorrowful in the near future. Watch it and don't rest your strength in Goshen. They were tormented. They were severely brutalized. The land that was initially flowing with milk and honey displayed their true colour. If you are enjoying ill gotten wealth or making waves on the platform of Satan's injunctions, be ready to be shattered when the time to see the reality comes. They cried so much for redemption away from Goshen because the pain was much. If it is possible at all, don't reside in Goshen and if you are there by implication of whatever it stands for in you, then move away from Goshen so you can enter into the REAL purpose of God for you. You will never amount to anything purposeful in Goshen. Your true fruitful and milky land is not Goshen but Canaan.  Take a sharp flight away now from such Goshen-like standings in your life. Young man, by doing so, you and your generation will have entered into a transgenerational fulfilment.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone.
