HELP, MY LORD, O KING!

Young man, it is a very tough time in the nation. It is biting hard on you with your previous conditions and you feel like giving up big time. Well, let me tell you that what you see will also pass just like the others have. Its so tough and to eat is difficult. To find help here and there is extremely hard. Well, there is nothing new under the sun. It has happened before and it won't stop on you and the nation. In fact, it is a condition that seems to be a siege on everyone. But it is not as bad as what was faced in Samaria. The city was besieged and it was hard to eat. There was no food, no money, no fuel, nothing was really available for survival of the citizen. It was so bad that they became carnivorous in nature. They started eating their own children.Young man, your situation is not this bad. Even if it is,  God is able to help you out of your predicaments. One woman cried to the king for help. She said help, my lord, O king.  She ran to a source for help. She sourced her help from a king who should be capable of helping her. Alas, the king could not help her. He said if God did not help her, she definitely has no HELP in MAN. I wonder where you have been hitherto for help young man? What is your object of help? Kings of this world? The leaders of this world? The rich men and women with the wine presses and threshing floors? Men with huge positions and affluence? Have they helped you hitherto? What has been the return of your trust in them? The kings of this world had given a verdict; Except God help you, I can't help you! You are right young man to know that you need help especially now. You are absolutely right to call and cry out but who are you crying to? Who are you calling to help you? You need to channel that energy to cry and call on God. He is your lord and king. He is aware of your predicaments. He won't fail you. Your situation is not beyond him. Your conditions are not above him. When you cry help, my lord, O king, make sure you are calling the heavenly king first. Make sure he is your lord and he is your king. Make sure he hears and respond to your need. Don't keep quite until you have an answer, even now. Young man, God will see you through the present condition of the nation in peace and absolute joy. Our condition is not bigger than God. He is absolutely ready to enter and make the siege to be over. Call on the right king.  Call on the right Lord. He will bring the men who will be relevant in fulfilling his words in this season.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone.
