THE TRAGEDY OF AHIMAAZ

Young man, as much you desire speed and more graceful escalates in your journey, be careful you are not running without a goal and focus. Don't run in the right direction without a target and something to deliver. It is good you know where you are going but do you know why you are going and what you will do when you get there?  Speed is good, getting right direction is also better but having something to deliver and a goal set is the best. You must be running with a vision. Run with a goal. Without vision people perish. Several young people have gain speed in life with no real value to deliver. They have gain prominence and fame with no clear impact on their generation. They have become celebrity with little contribution to the positive growth of their generation. They have become fathers and mothers who are far from the reality of fatherhood and are murderers to the wards they are raising. Run with a definite goal. Run with a definite purpose. Do you remember Ahimaaz Zadok? He made a significant proclamation when Joab wanted someone to bear news to King David about Absalom. Joab told him that he had no news to deliver cos he was not there nor was he part of the occurrence. No tangible goal and vision to run with to the king. He agreed he had nothing to show the king. Nothing to tell him. He yet requested to run in the right direction without a goal and vision. He competed with the Cushite who had the message to deliver. Joab told him he had nothing to deliver to the king that will bring him REWARD. He knew he was empty. He knew he had nothing to run with. Yet, he ran. He ran to the point of outrunning the man with vision. He got the fame before him. He got the celebration of wining the race but lack REWARD. He ran purposelessly. He ran without a goal. Don't be deceived by the speed and escalation when there is no substance in your life. Gather substance. Have a goal and clear vision to run with. He outran the man to stardom but his star was set aside by the king. He could not deliver even though he got to the king first. He was asked to step aside. He was ridiculed. His speed amounted to nothing. His right direction amounted to nothing. Young man, you may be going slow with your vision, don't fret because of the men on the speed lane. Leave them to run their race. Make sure you set out with with clear vision and goal. Your reward is waiting for you. Your celebration will come. Don't just run anyhow. Ahimaaz said he wanted to run anyhow even without vision. Don't run anyhow. Once you are without clear vision, you are running anyhow and may soon face the tragedy that befell Ahimaaz. Beware of running anyhow and ending up as a man STEPPED ASIDE. He was stepped aside and it was permanently. As you progress in your making process, don't run anyhow. Don't run aimlessly, without a VISION that will enable you fulfill the design of God for you. The vision that will end you with a well done and welcome with God.
