THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS

Young man, it is essential you know this: the battle may be fierce and tough, it is not yours to fight. several youth have ended up as casualty in the battles of life cos they engaged in it on their own accord. God has designed you to be totally dependent on him.  He sent you into the battle field yet, asked you to totally and wholly depend in him to fight it. When you rely heavily on your own wisdoms and skill sets to battle in life, be ready for a lost. Be ready for severe casualty. It is easy to do when God is involved and difficultly dangerous when God is missing. The moment you switch from the leadership of God and guide in the issues of life to your own knowledge, wisdom and intellectual capacity, be ready to be listed on the causality list of life. You can't win the devil on your own. Mark that word. You can't win the world on your own. You can't make it by your own strength. By strength shall no man prevail. The mighty are falling and the weapons of war are perishing. So, young man, the battle is the lord's. Release the cares and challenges of your life and see him in action. Rest in him alone and see him taking over your issues. The day you settle this matter in your heart that the battle is not yours, that day, you'll begin to fight from victory and no longer for victory. You'll become more than conqueror from that day forward. The reality is that what surrounds you could tempt you to seek immediate solution away from God thinking you can win it by your smartness, beauty, affluence and positions. God owns the battle and once it is handed over to him and you come to the end of yourself, you should relax and see the great deliverance God will wrought on your behalf. God is not a man that he should lie. He is not son of man that he should repent. If he says, the battle is not yours, why fighting it? If its not yours, why trying to find solution by carnal methods? Leave it in God's hand and see his deliverance. When God took over the issues of Israelites in Egypt after they cried to him, they were even sorry for their enemies. They were even scared for them. God dealt with the enemy in such a way that fear entered all nations that heard about it. It became his battle, and fights it his own way. When they were faced with blockage in the front and battle at the back, God asked them to relax and move forward cos it is his battle. He finished the enemy and buried them in the sea while the children of Israel passed through the ocean in dried land. Hand it over to God. Seek his direction. Seek his guide. Hand the barrenness issues over.  Hand the lack of spouse over. Hand the sickness over. Hand the shame and reproach over. Hand the poverty over. You will then see him roaring and tearing apart all the life's issues confronting you.  Young man, it will be wrong of me to say you are shielded from trouble and chaos. However, the bottom line of today's dose is that you must come to the end of yourself to see God in action against the enemies,  troubles and chaos.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone. An attempt to try it will be the beginning of you becoming a deformed you. It is foolishness to want everyone in your camp and be in the "good" book of everyone. TRUST GOD EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
