SCENT OF WATER

There is hope for a tree that is cut down if its not totally uprooted. At the scent of water, it will spring back to life. There is hope for you even if you have failed and fallen. There is hope for you even if all thing seems to be against you. Yes, you have hope cos God has never departed from you. He promised to keep you and sustain you. Your season of draught notwithstanding. You dryness is not an issue he can't resolve. He is capable of doing the impossible. There is hope at the scent of water. Young man, your dry circumstances is evidently a pointer of your need for more of God. Am I saying you never have him? No, I am saying it points to how much of him you even need now. You need God now than ever. It is not now you should give up on him or walk away from his precepts. It is not now that you should despise his instructions. It is even now that you should hear him speak more. Elijah was closer than ever to God during the famine period. God was there to guide him all along through it. There was water in the dry land. There was a way in the wildernesses but only God know where they are. Only him know the location of the well. Only God knows the hidden path in the wildernesses. You see, the only responsibility laid on you is to rely on God for his leadership. It is to rest on him for his guide. A hopeless tree will receive hope at the scent of water. You must be sensitive to the scent of your water. The Holy Spirit is the living spring. In his time, your leaves will come alive. You must drink and take in the nutrient of and by the water. All you need is to lean on where you can have access daily to this flowing stream. Its right within you but you must permit his flow. If the Holy Spirit will achieve anything in you, he needs your cooperation. You must have the scent of water to come alive. You must be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit when the external parameters are dry and hopeless. The water from within you must not be dried. You must keep wet from inside and you will see your leaves come alive again. Your fruits will cheer God and man.
