SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF REPLACEMENT

The fact remains that a man may be as good as Moses in leading the people of God to their promise land. Yet, his days are numbered. Yet, he has limited days to work with. It is important our older generation knows this and give their best shot to become all that God has designed for them. Pour out your all in raising champions and impacting your world because your clock is ticking. You will soon leave the stage either by age or by change of address. However, the older generations are not of utmost concern to me now. It is the generation that will take over from them. The Moses may have reached their peak and maximum heights of impact. They have done their best. They have made their positive marks. They have conquered lands and territories for the Lord. They have wrought wonders in Egypt. They have parted the red sea. They have done the miraculous. They knew the *ways* of God. They brought God's *acts* to reality. Now, the numbers of Moses are reducing. But where are the Joshuas? Where are the sons and daughters of replacement? Those that are ready to pay the sacrifice for the mantle of Moses. Joshua was selfless and not looking for such a position. Joshua was only following as a good follower. Diligent and learning the ways of communicating with God from his leader, Moses. He didn't appoint himself as someone who will take over. No. God did by himself. No special clothing and packaging to show he is taking over. No special treatment as the second hand man. He was just following with all his heart. There was NO dangerous desire to direct men to himself against Moses. He was just a good follower. Mind you young man, seek to serve and be a good follower. Don't seek platform and leadership role first. It will come to you naturally. Learn to take and follow instructions. Learn to go to battle and allow the leader the praise. Learn to give your best shot in following a godly and goodly leader. Learn to also tarry in God's presence. Learn to yield your all to God. Of all the testifier about the land they visited, Joshua and Caleb stood out. They had a different spirit. Joshua was not interested in the Acts of God alone. He was interested in his WAYS. Those who knows his acts may end up not taking over. *Those who knows his ways can replicate his acts*. His way of holiness. His way of humility. His way of sacrifice. His way of kindness. His way of love. His way of prayer and fellowship. All these are the realities that today's young people want to skip and omit in their daily living. They want to be Moses in powers and glory but don't want to be thrown into the wilderness of training. They want to be used to bring the power of olds but don't want to separate themselves from the world. They want to say a thing and see it come to pass but don't want to live the life that is different from the crowd's. As for you young man, don't run away from the pattern of sacrificial and righteous living. You can never be anything tangible as son or daughter of replacement if you won't follow the ways of God. Thankfully, God has summarized everything in JESUS; HIS WORD. He is the way, the truth and the life. Follow his word. Look for Jesus' lifestyle. Don't be among the crowd that followed because of his acts and won't follow his ways. If you will make a transgenerational impact like the fading elders, you must be ready to be a Joshua under their Moses. But where are these Joshuas? Young man, what becomes of the void the man you cherish his books so much leaves when he is gone? What becomes of the space to be left by the leader that raised you in word and work when he is gone?Think about this and you will learn the ways of God so as to replicate his acts as the leaders did.
