BUILT TO LAST

A path in your journey that cannot be escaped is the building process. It is one of the most crucial aspect of life that cannot be underestimated and must be taken serious in order to have a fulfilled life. You can be built in diverse ways; academically, financially, and morally. All these are subset of your spiritual growth where you must be built in order to last. Your growth and development spiritually supersedes all other phases of your life. If you are not building yourself to last, your life may be shapeless and you will find it very difficult to live in. The way you are built and the kind of structures you have formed over time depict the reality of what your life will become. The structure of your life depend on who you have chosen to be the architect of your life. Most people ought to have been in a particular stage of their life fulfilling purpose but couldn't as a result of a wrong architect they have invited into their building process. Most people thought they could build themselves on their own. They thought they could do it with their own wisdom, knowledge, understanding, might,  power and connection. They forgot that their good minus God is zero. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Yes, I believe God has given you the wisdom and insight needed as son to be fulfilled in life but I must tell that it is expedient of you to seek him for divine direction. It is expected of you to build yourself with the undiluted word of God to scale through life. With everything God has deposited in you, it is expected to inquire of him to build up yourself daily in him through his word in order for you to remain unshakable through the test of time. Trial and tribulations are inevitable, the only way to overcome and be sustained is to feed daily on God's word. Young man, note that if your foundation is faulty,  what can you as the righteous do when the building is completed? Such building cannot last. Such building with faulty foundation will soon collapse. You should know that your only hope and stay when wind blows and storm rage is the word of God. The question now is who is the architect of your life? Yourself, man,  Satan or God? The foundation of God stand sure. Always note that " unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain. If you will be built to last, you must grow in God's word. Eat, young man, the journey ahead is far and covered with its unknown matters. David was built to last. He meditated daily on God's word and it was a light to his path. It was his anchor in troubling time. It was a stay when storm was heavy. He scaled through them all. He did falter, failed and all, but he ended well. He was built to last. Young man, if you will become everything God has designed for you, you must be built to last. You can only last if you dwell richly in God's word and follow every of its injunctions as he guided you.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone. An attempt to try it will be the beginning of you becoming a deformed you. It is foolishness to want everyone in your camp and be in the "good" book of everyone. You must learn to select your friends. Even if they select you, you must also check your parameters of judgment to bring such people close. TRUST GOD EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Young man, I am glad to pen some issues on your current challenges to you today. You may be currently in the worst state you could ever be. Let me tell you not to shift your attention away from God. Stay with him. Learn to trust God in all you do. Hold firmly to the truth of his word that he never fails. Even when it does not make sense, trust him harder.
