REST, DON'T QUIT

There are more challenging phases than where you are presently young man. You must be aware of this early as you progress in your making process. Yes, it is true that the current one is even tough. Yes, it is true that you are exhausted. But it is also true that you are not there yet. It is true that the energy in you can be revitalized. It is true that the pressure seems like you should call the effort off and take the easy way out: QUIT. When it is extremely tough as this and it seems your world is crumbling or shapeless, don't quit. All you need to do is rest . Have you started an advanced degree and it seems not working? Don't quit, Just rest.  Have you started a business and you have expended all your money and energy and it seems failure is your watch word? Don't quit, just rest. If you quit now, all the other efforts are already a waste. If you quit now, you will become an emblem of mockery. Well, I must tell you I am particular about what you began with God's backing. I am talking about what you sought his direction and guidance on before commencing. If you have  started without him, I plead with you to QUIT.  A journey you started on your own counsel may never have his backing. The end is not always good. Let him guide you. Let him order your steps young man. Its dangerous to go on anything alone without God's leading. Well, even if he had led you, be sure that you may even want to QUIT when the going get tough. You may want to end it.  All you need to do is to REST. Resting does not mean folding of hands and sleeping so that you won't put in new trials and efforts. No!  Resting does not mean you will vacate what are doing and travel away from the environment, even though traveling may help you sometimes. Resting means taking your hands off the case and finding solace in God. It means absolute dependence on God and all he has to give in those conditions that exhausted you. Resting could mean you stop hanging your hope on people. Resting could me you stop trusting your strength. Resting is in God and God alone. Once you go with the burden that want to make quit to God in place of prayers, the comforts of his word will re-energize you to go on.  Don't quit, just rest in God.  Cast your burden on him and see him in action for you. Throw all the weights at his feet and enjoy his unusual support to move on.  Jesus wanted to QUIT. Yes. He wanted to end the greatest mission and goal anyone could ever set. His assignment was to save man by reconciling them back to God. But he was tired. He wanted to QUIT. He even told God to take away the Cup. That's simple by definition, QUITTING. But you know what, he demonstrated what we should do when we want to quit also, GO TO THE SECRET PLACE and commune with the Father for a renewed strength to match on. He obtained REST. He rested and took off to fulfil his assignment. Don't Quit, just REST.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone. TRUST GOD EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Young man, I am glad to pen some issues on your current challenges to you today. You may be currently in the worst state you could ever be. Let me tell you not to shift your attention away from God. Stay with him. Learn to trust God in all you do. Hold firmly to the truth of his word that he never fails. Even when it does not make sense, trust him harder.
