DO NOT FIGHT EVERY BATTLE

There is an adage of the Yoruba nation which says that a powerful man without a scheme is the father of weak/lazy people. Be selective in the battle you fight young man. And your selection is not your doing but the Spirit of God's. Don't engage in every battle. Don't engage because you have strength and the battle is little. Don't engage because you have had series of victories on similar battles. It may be disastrous. Don't engage in a business because you have the money or you have done similar thing successfully in the past. Don't lay hand on a medical operation because you are just the expert as a child of God. No, consult the heavenly link IN you and be sure he is guiding you to it. There are stuff you will do that all hospital may have rejected and God says you should go ahead. It will end in victory. But there are some that will be minor and God will ask you to refer or leave it cos it may tarnish your name. Don't say I am used to this line and then fail to consult the Lord. Once you face every battle with the mindset of God is the chief of host and he gives instruction on what to do and not to do per time, your victory at every point will be CERTAIN. See, majority of older people have fought battles that were not theirs and thus, they were limited to second fiddle or role because of the injury sustained. God want you to finish strong and well, but there are times he will instruct you to RUN away even from a small battle. Not because he can't fight your course but because it must be permitted to be for order among men. Your running away may be a huge balance in another sphere. David learnt the art of war early and it helped him a lot. He knew how to consult his guide over every battle. Should I go? Should I pursue? Will I win? He had several questions for the guide and he always get answer. There were time God instruct him to go all out, and there were time he needed not to. There were time he needed to use a new strategy. See, young man, once you learn that a conquering warrior is known when he understand when to fight and when to run, your life will be a lot easier. Of course, you don't chose who or what you fight. God does guide you to who, when, what and where to fight and vice visa. Did I hear you say that GOD is ALMIGHTY and so he should win every battle now? Yes, He is and none can defeat him. But he has his arrangement that makes him God and God alone. He want you to learn how to totally trust him and be in total NEED of HIM. You must not come to a point in your life where his direction and leadership is no longer valued. See the Almighty God asked Joseph and Mary to take Jesus and RUN to Egypt for safety. Waoh.. Why will God do that? Common Herod now? Joseph and Mary may have made the greatest mistake if they disobeyed the voice guiding them. Well, they may have reasons why they needed not to run. Jesus was born miraculously by the empowerment of the Holy Ghost. There were testimonies at his birth that made him a No ordinary child. They may have thought no human hand can touch him. While that may be correct, it is the deadliest lie the flesh may have spoken, which may hurt humanity forever. So, Joseph and Mary picked race and ran away in the middle of the might. The mighty Jesus was taken on speed from his enemy. It was a divine principle. There was a prophetic garland on that land and it must come to pass. So, running was the correct parameter in that equation of what Jesus must become and how he must grow. Be selective with your battle. Don't ever fight all battles because you are strong and you felt you will win. An unusual fly can crash your mighty plane. There were times Paul had to run too. The bottom line for today is that you are nothing without the Holy Spirit guiding you to every step. Running away in God's programme may be the victory point. Staying to fight may be deadly. And sometimes, running away as instructed by God could also be read clearly. You may not be ready yet for such battle. You may still be weak and can't face such. You may also need to grow to face such battles. So, yielding to God's voice is good for your well being *so you won't be finished before finishing.
