DISADVANTAGED?

 Life will not give you want you want. It will give you want you demand of it. See young man, there is a huge responsibility on you to identify your shortfalls, limitations and disadvantages.This will help you to know how to navigate on this process and progress path.  Some were born with huge deficit already. They have background limitations and they are the "disadvantaged". There is huge poverty on your lane of growth. You seems to have a bad grade in school limiting you from getting a good job.There is one ailment that set a serious loophole for recurrent failure. What are your disadvantages? What are you challenged with that has caused your vision to become blurry? In fact, it has become a major set back for you! May be it has deprived you of several opportunity to win and be celebrated. Well, you may seek solution to those limitations. You may add new certificates to improve your chances which was limited by poor grade. You may improve your personal skill to enhance your chances. You may seek medical help for the ailment. You may do one thing or the other to take away the disadvantages. However, it has more to do with your mind. Your limit is your mind. Its the well from which issues of LIFE springs from. Once your mindset is fixed on your disadvantages, you will be distant from what can advance you in life. Ask yourself some questions and see if you can answer correctly! How do you picture yourself? A loser due to disadvantages or a winner because of CHRIST? You have the highest tendency to be caged in YOUR disadvantages. You have to renew your mind on a daily basis through God's word to have a new image of YOU formed on your mind(HEART). You must see yourself as God sees you. Then, whatever disadvantages will be done with. It may not go instantly, but it won't stop you from becoming the BEST of God for you. God is above your disadvantages. God is beyond it/them. Naaman was a leper and that does not stopped him from been a well respected war General in his land. Even the king will not go to war without him. He sought for solution to that limitation but has attained a GENERAL position in battle with it. Jephthah was born by an harlot. Circumstances around his birth were not palatable. It made his family and all to despise him, yet he became a vehement force to reckon with despite the disadvantages. He attained the WARRIOR posture with that limitation. Jerubaal (Gideon) was the least in his father's house. His father's house was also the least in the town. How can he achieve such feet with that background? Your background should not be a limitation to you. Go pass it and become God's intention. Apostle Paul had some challenges that served as thorns in his flesh. They were not enough to stop him from becoming a pillar in the gospel of Christ as God designed. God's grace was evidently enough to overcome the limitations. Don't give in and be stopped by your barriers. With God on your side, no amount of disadvantages can stop you.You have the biggest ADVANTAGE in the entire universe: THE HOLY SPIRIT. So, clear your mind and see as he sees you. Walk on this path as he guides you.

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone. An attempt to try it will be the beginning of you becoming a deformed you. It is foolishness to want everyone in your camp and be in the "good" book of everyone. You must learn to select your friends. Even if they select you, you must also check your parameters of judgment to bring such people close. TRUST GOD EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
