A GLIMPSE OF HOPE

Young man, hope is essentially important attribute you must develop in your making process. Your expectations of better things to come must be worked on. I know it may be tough to see the realities and yet be doggedly trusting God that something will come through for you. Ten years after graduation and nothing seems working? You see advert by the day saying they require certain age that you have passed already? You wonder if what you saw as your dream will ever come to reality! You wonder if your waiting will not be in vain. You wonder if the man or woman that will eventually come for marriage journey will be worth it in the end? And so you are already tired and losing trust in the process. You are already ready for results. You want to also see the rain after the draught. I can assure you that once your trust is still in God, you will see the rain. The land will yield for you in abundance. You will end well in his design.  Meanwhile, the little opportunities opening up for you these days are to raise a glimpse of hope in you. Yes, the LITTLE means of survival coming up for you are to strengthen your conviction of better things to come. Therefore, don't despise the days of this little beginning. Its like expecting an ocean but having a bucket of water. Yes, keep at it. It may be intentional of God to raise your hope again and make it alive. Its a glimpse of hope and it surely a pointer to the abundant rain coming. DON'T DESPISE IT. You have prayed and prayed for a big miracle but a little has come, rejoice. It may not look like it. Rejoice. Cos, the reality is at the corner. There was a famine in the land of Israel and everywhere was filled with draught. It was extremely tough season for them. Elijah prayed for rain again and again. He asked his servant to keep tab of the sky. He prayed so seriously and effectually that his prayer pattern was acknowledged in the book of James. For six good times, there was no hope of rain. It seems they will continue with the draughts. But at the seventh time, hope came alive. A hand-like cloud in a big sky could really mean nothing. But that was the little glimpse, enough to signify something great coming. Yea, something was about to end the draught. Just a little glimpse of hope. Once, you see that green light, your heart rejoices. So don't give up, don't stop pushing until you have that glimpse. Keep praying. Keep praying. Keep praying until something happen even if it's a little. And when that glimpse appear, don't despise it because you are expecting better. Its a pointer to raise your hope and make it alive again. Elijah stopped and told the King to run because the rain is at the corner just because he saw the glimpse. Be assured young man, the rain is at the corner. Yes, it is at the corner. The draught will be over soon.
