STRENGTHENING MECHANISM

How do you survive the huddles? How do you navigate in the midst of storm without falling into the deep sea? How do you pass through turbulent times without crumbling? How will the storms not allow you throw away all the GOODNESS in you. Remember the companion of Jonah? The storm emptied them. The storm caused them to think irrationally. They threw all the "goods" on board away thinking the ship will be stabilized. No, it did not. It got worse. Excuse me young man, it is possible you throw away all the goodness in you to a storming situation. You may find yourself worthless at the face of trials and troubles. It is highly calculative that you may FAIL in the midst of your troubling situations. Then, how do you navigate this storm? How do you pass through this debt? How do you rejoice in the midst of this joblessness? How can you stand tall with this financial woes? How will you hold on to the salvation promised? How will you not break before you lay hands on the fulfilment of God's promises? When a material is weak and is subjected to external load, there is already a stress initiation point inside it, thus, fracture/failure of such material is eminent. When you fail in the days of adversity/distress, your strength is LITTLE. It is not bad to have a little strength right? There will be some days of adversity that will test that strength and it is possible to fail on high probability. So what do you do young man to keep going? You have to grow your strength. You will have to engage in daily strengthening mechanism. You have to engage in what will increase your strength daily.Your strengthening mechanism are Obedience to God's word, and consistent prayers. Learn the art of constant praise to God. Surround yourself with strengtheners. Men and women with a heart for God. Another key strengthener I have found is passing through a phase of turbulent time successfully without crumbling. Like the song writer says, one victory will strengthen your heart for the next battle. Strengthen yourself in God. Your victory is certain. If you fall in the days of adversity/distress, your strength is little. Little strength cannot sustain you as you progress in your making process.

FRIENDS

The circle of people around you has a huge influence on who you are becoming. Remember, we have discussed that you are becoming what you will become.  No one became anything suddenly. It's a process. While you are becoming what you will become, you need to know that the friends you keep will have a large influence on you. Let me tell you the bitter truth. You cannot be friends with everyone. An attempt to try it will be the beginning of you becoming a deformed you. It is foolishness to want everyone in your camp and be in the "good" book of everyone. You must learn to select your friends. Even if they select you, you must also check your parameters of judgment to bring such people close. TRUST GOD EVEN IF IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Young man, I am glad to pen some issues on your current challenges to you today. You may be currently in the worst state you could ever be. Let me tell you not to shift your attention away from God. Stay with him. Learn to trust God in all you do. Hold firmly to the truth of his word that he never fails. Even when it does not make sense, trust him harder.
